Meet Tim Mackey

Tim is an enterprise and solution architect with more than 25 years' experience delivering complex technology transformation outcomes across the Australian Government. He has a strong background in enterprise architecture, digital transformation, cloud adoption, program delivery and ICT strategy, with particular expertise in designing and governing large-scale Microsoft and hybrid cloud environments within highly regulated government settings.

Tim strongly believes in governance and stakeholder engagement, and understands that lasting transformation outcomes depend on aligning technology solutions with strategic business objectives while managing complex, multi-agency environments. He brings deep technical capability together with strong executive leadership experience to every program he leads.

Throughout his career, Tim has delivered enterprise architecture, cloud migration and transformation work across government agencies including the Department of Health and Aged Care, National Archives of Australia, Geoscience Australia, Services Australia and CASA, where he served as Acting Chief Information Officer. His technical strengths span Azure, Power Platform, API and integration architecture, data and analytics platforms, security and compliance frameworks, and executive stakeholder engagement.

Tim is known for translating complex government policy and technology challenges into clear, deliverable architecture that supports Australia's most critical public services.
